The Yards Park receives 2013 Urban Open Space Award

The Yards Park located in Washington, D.C is one of the two parks selected at Urban Land Institute (ULI)’s Fall Meeting in Chicago as 2013 Urban Open Space Award winning project. The Yards Park provides a transformative and vibrant public space that generates social, economic and ecological value to the neighborhood.

Setty had worked closely with the project for providing MEP design services to remediate the site and develop The Yards.

President Barack Obama visits Powell Elementary School

President Barack Obama visited Powell Elementary School to discuss what he called a “roadmap” for the agenda he laid out in his State of the Union address to restore opportunity for all Americans.

"These kids may not be the most excited people in town on budget day," President Obama said, "but my budget is designed with their generation and future generations in mind."

Setty has worked closely with the DC school in its Modernization Program over the past few years. 

Learning Living Residence Hall 6 received the 2013 Presidential Citation in Universal Design Award

Gallaudet University, Learning Living Residence Hall 6, Washington, DC received the 2013 Presidential Citation in Universal Design Award from AIA's Washington DC Chapter’s Architecture DC Magazine.

Setty provided MEP/FP design services for a new student dormitory building that is approximately 60,000 sf.  The design includes a geothermal system and will be designed for LEED Gold.

Mr. Boggarm Setty was recently awarded the Distinguished Service Award (DSA) from ASHRAE for his eminent service. The award recognizes ASHRAE members who have served the society faithfully and with distinction on committees or have otherwise given freely of their time and talent on behalf of the society.

DC library receives the prestigious 2012 AIA Potomac Valley Design Awards

Francis A. Gregory Neighborhood Library project has won the prestigious 2012AIA Potomac Valley Design Awards for its design excellence. The 26,372 sf public library located at Washington, DC is rightly admired for its state of art high performance features.

Winners of the prestigious RIBA International Awards for architectural excellence 2013 Announced

Washington Highlands Neighborhood Library and Francis A. Gregory Neighborhood Library projects are among the twelve that are finalized for the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) International awards for 2013.

Setty provided MEP/FP design services to these libraries, which encompasses an area of 23,168 sf and 26,372 sf respectively. It has been a honor and a privilege to have designed these libraries.

The Civic Building in Billings, Montana Received Design-Build Honor Award

Setty performed Total Building Commissioning for the new 146,742 gsf U.S. Federal Courthouse. The scope of work encircles commissioning of Design, Construction and Post-Occupancy stages to deliver all program goals for the new Courthouse. 

The U.S.Federal Courthouse Civic building in Billings, Montana received Design-Build Honor Awards from Design-Build Institute of America.
