Distinguished Service Award (DSA) was presented to Mr Boggram Setty


Congratulations to our very own Mr. Setty for being recognized by ASHRAE and awarded the Distinguished Service AwardThe Distinguished Service Award salutes members of any grade who have served the Society faithfully and with distinction; and who have given freely of their time and talent in chapter, regional and Society activities.

The Awards Presentation, given by Honors and Awards Committee, was held during the 2014 Annual Conference of ASHRAE held in Seattle, WA on June 28, 2014.

An open door for fun at Setty


Setty Team Members participated in Paintball last month. The competitive sport allowed folks to show off their colorful side. We feel that if we create the right working environment it will translate into people wanting to come here and feel good about where they work.

Eagle Academy Public Charter School has received the Award of Excellence


Eagle Academy Public Charter School has received the Award of Excellence from AIA Northern Virginia for the newly renovated Eagle Center at McGogney.

The District awarded Eagle the former McGogney Elementary School in October 2011 to develop an Eagle Center. The project included state-of-the-art green facility that includes the school, a parents/community center, gymnasium, indoor pool and a community health center. Setty teamed up with Shinberg.Levinas to provide MEP/FP design services for this public charter school.

The Yards Park receives 2013 Urban Open Space Award


The Yards Park located in Washington, D.C is one of the two parks selected at Urban Land Institute (ULI)’s Fall Meeting in Chicago as 2013 Urban Open Space Award winning project. The Yards Park provides a transformative and vibrant public space that generates social, economic and ecological value to the neighborhood.

Setty had worked closely with the project for providing MEP design services to remediate the site and develop The Yards.

President Barack Obama visits Powell Elementary School


President Barack Obama visited Powell Elementary School to discuss what he called a “roadmap” for the agenda he laid out in his State of the Union address to restore opportunity for all Americans.
"These kids may not be the most excited people in town on budget day," President Obama said, "but my budget is designed with their generation and future generations in mind."
Setty has worked closely with the DC school in its Modernization Program over the past few years.
